How long after taking castor oil does does it start giving yu contractions im 39 weeks pregnant.?

My due dates on Saturday may 21 and I can't dill with my pregnancy anymore I did my homework on castor oil I kno wat it does and wat it can do. I'm 2 centimeteres dialated and 70% effaced.
