I have a basic math question i cannot figure out for some reason. Please help? (:?

I find that the best way to deal with fractions is to turn them into regular numbers for decimals. So 3/4 can be reverted to 0.75 and 1 3/4 can be 1.75 so 1.75 divided by .75 is 2.333333 etc. So that reverted to fractions again is 2 1/3 which is answer B!
