Why is my dill transplant dying?

i put it in about a week ago, its in full sun, watered every day,soil with old horse poo tilled in in the spring. the lower leafage is turning brown but is not wilting. is it a disease?? or is my soil ph off. i have not checked the ph this year after we put in the manure.
