Could I have gotten tetanus?

Today I was outside and my toe got cut on something but I don't know what because I was looking the opposite way. I think it may have been some metal but not completely sure. And does the metal have to be rusty. Could I get tetanus and would I have to get another shot I just got one like a year ago. And what are some of the symptoms if I could have gotten tetanus.
