What tests do i need to make a food product legal to sell?

im thinking about starting a small business that makes honey-dill sauce, and if it gets anywhere possibly other sauces that are less common. nyways i need to know what the steps are that need to be taken to make my product legal in Canada, more specifcally Newfoundland. Who do i get it tested for nutrition facts, expiration dates, etc. and all other aspects i would need to know to start my company. also, approximate costs of starting up would be appreciated
