We're supposedly 'best friends,' but we wont admit we hate each other?

I've entirely checked out on my part of my friendship with a girl named Samantha, because she's a horrible person in my point of view, and for a while, I hated her, and wished for the worst for her. I already know that was horrible of me, and I did let it go. She wont check out of her part of the friendship, because she doesn't want to confront me or be confronted, and we also have a mutual friend that we both call a best friend, and we don't want to drag her into the drama. I can't say that I really hate her, it's more like I know her ways, and I entirely disapprove of them, and I think she needs to be put in her place. Other than back out slowly, what do I do?

I have an Home AC Unit. Though the compressor turns on the fan will not. Please read my further comments.?

I tested the capacitor to see if that could be the problem. It is a dual start capacitor, with both the compressor and the fan hooked up to it. I don't have a capacitance tester so I used my multimeter and tested the ohms. Both portions of the capacitor started out at 0 and as they charged from the multimeter went to infant ohms as expected on a good capacitor. The capacitor does not appear to be blown or bubbled at the top though it is extremely rusty for being only 4 years old. I also pulled the fan motor off the AC Unit and checked the resistance in the motor. There are only 3 wires coming out so I tested all three which added up to what equates to a good motor. Beyond this I just can't figure out why the dang fan won't start. The bearings on the fan seem fine as well. They do not feel seized up. The blade spins fairly freely. The only thing I can thing is to check the relay swith. How can I tell if that is bad?

I would use thyme and parsley together, or rosemary on it's own. Oregano and parsley would be okay too. If you had any fresh garlic, I would chop that up and add it too. Tarragon and sage would probably be too strong for the beef, but I like them both.

som im a 20 yr old male. i formally practiced tae kwon do for about a year and a half when i was around 13-14 yrs old. i had stop stop after i entered high school as i no loner had as much free time. i was really good at it (maybe op 5 in my class) and often won competitions and such. If im not mistaken, i was 2 belts away from black. Its been at least 6 years since then, but i was thinking about it the other day, and i would really like to start training again. (not formally though, just on my own). i sparred by myself a bit in my basement and i surprisingly still remember a lot. obviously i was very rusty (especially in proper form and flexibility) but i still think i can start again and pick up fairly fast. What do you guys think?? i this possible or will i have to start over again with classes and formal training??

Dwarf baby tears turning yellow?

My temperature in my tank is going up real high right now because of summer. Right when I got my baby tears, the temp would be set at 76-78 degrees and they would be crazy bright green and were spreading within a week. Now the temp has gone up highest being 84-86 and my baby tears are slowly dying! I don't have AC in my house either. Are the baby tears done for? If I somehow manage to get the temp down, will they ever go back to being bright green? They aren't even done spreading yet. I've had them for about a month.

Currently weaning my daughter to formula?

she is four months old,i have been weaning since last wednesday. she had been combined feeding for awhile.now we always had this routine where when Sophia wakes up i and goes to sleep she would be put to the breast however when i gave her a bottle which was half breast milk/ half formula, she freaked and wanted the breast, we have been struggling and it is nearly a week now, she is coping better but i admit i have been letting her breastfeed atleast once a day, i am slowly cutting all of the pumping sessions down so soon she will be fully bottle fed but it is just these feeding sessions that our really hard. any ideas

My Body is numb!? (PLEASE ANSWER)?

I was hanging out at home, doing nothing out of the ordinary, and I felt this huge pulse in my leg. It was getting irritating so I started rubbing it trying to make it stop. Pretty soon, my whole leg was numb, then my other leg went numb. And my feet! I called my grandma who used to be a nurse and she said she really didn't think it was anything serious and to elevate my legs. I tried and next thing I knew, the numbness was up my whole back! I'm so tired but I'm scared to go to sleep. I was afraid it might be tetanus because about a week ago I jumped off of a rusty swing and scraped myself on it. It broke the skin, but there was no blood. I've heard from some people that in order to get tetanus, you barely have to get a scratch, and from others that it has to be a deep wound. So I'm confused. Also, I've heard that it only takes a few hours for tetanus to occur from some people, but from others, I've heard it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks. I tend to over react and get a little hysterical about things so of course when my legs went numb, I went into panic attack mode and made everything a lot worse. Images not aligning properly when sliced?

I have to code a simple(ish) website for college for tomorrow- generally I know what I'm doing when it comes to HTML but because I haven't looked at it for a while now I'm a bit rusty. I've sliced up a 750px image that I want to use, and I'm exporting it from Photoshop as images only and just putting each image tag inside a 750px div. Elimination diet: Did I mess it up?

Hey, I'm doing an elimination diet of gluten, dairy, and eggs to see if I am allergic to them. I know you're supposed to be free from any of that for 4-6 weeks, and I've been doing it for 2 so far. Last night I ate movie popcorn as they said there was no dairy in it, and didn't think there was gluten. I got it without butter, but they said its cooked in some buttersalt oil that has no milk products in it. I'm wondering now if it had gluten in it, or maybe my body is just used to eating healthy and didnt like the preservatives in the root beer or popcorn oil? Anyway I ended up getting sick and am wondering if that was to blame. If it was (I'll call tonight and hopefully find out from a manager), do I need to start the elimination diet all over again? Like have 6 weeks from today rather than just 4 weeks left? I know it's just to get any traces of the foods out of your system so you can really see how it effects your body, but I'm just not sure yet (after 6 weeks I start adding those foods back in slowly and see how it affects me). If anyone has any knowledge on that or has done an elimination diet themselves, any information would be helpful. Thanks!

My GSD Saber has a favorite squeaky toy which he loves to fetch, as soon as my boyfriend goes to see him he will grab it and to let him know he wants to play. However when Amy, my dads dog came along she was just 3 months old so she wanted to play with him, however its all about training and making sure your dog listens to you, I made Saber sit and lay down and wait his turn, and when Amy brought it back then I told him to get up and get ready and threw it for him. Toyota Camry stalling issue?

I have a 1993, 4 cylinder, automatic, toyota camry. recently I had a friend of mine replace the head gasket because it blew. Since then the only trouble I've been having with the car is that it stalls after I floor it (if I have to get up to speed quickly, not necessarily putting the pedal all the way down). After i floor it it will start jumping, like it's out of gas, when I take my foot off the gas pedal. Once I stop or have to slow down the RPM's just drop and the car stalls. I can't get it to start in neutral after this, so I have to stop the car and turn it off then back on, then it will run fine again. If i let the car slowly get up to speed instead of flooring it, it won't stall. I've checked the vacuum hoses and they seem fine. What could be causing this?

I planted herb seeds according to zone directions and all.. They have sprouted and the basil is the only one that looks halfway decent.. My Viza Viper gas scooter stops when riding! Help!?

I have a 33cc viza viper gas scooter. I recently got a new gas tank. The Company does not make them anymore so I had to get a different one and had to get my uncle who works at a repair shop to put a wedge or something since it didint fit. When I got the new tank on. It worked GREAT. They put a new racing sprocket in, tuned it up and sprayed something on the chain. I rode my scooter alot after the repair. I probably wasted like 10 miles on gas. Well anyway i started noticing the scooter jerking as if it where stopping, it would still accelerate but at certain times it would make those dying noises.Any scooter owners know when they are out a gas there scooter like jerks and starts slowly dying. well MY scooter started to go that. But its different because my tank was half full. Well it got worse later on, and from this day Every time I start It it dies in 15 seconds or less. I personally think its the fuel lines since they are alot longer and cant reach the carburator. But even if I press the little pump thingy I do it like 20 times so enough gas gets in but its not working I have herd people saying its a air leak but I dont think it is. sorry for the long story. I just want my problem Fixed! HELP!!!! P.S. people PLEASE dont say my scooter is garbage china crap. I just want my scooter fixed okay?

Can I give my newborn gripe water?

My baby is just 12 days old, and I've been told by my grandmother to give him gripe water to relieve gas although the bottle sais the baby must be 1 month old? Question about tetanus?!?

I had my tetanus booster when I was 11, and now I'm 16. I got cut with my friends rusty razor blade (didn't realize it had rust on it till later). Lately I've been feeling shaky, I've had headaches, neck pains, and chest muscle spasms. I've also been really tired and my blood pressures been high, even though I'm really physically active, and I can't sleep well and when I do sleep have night sweats which has never happened to me before. I know they recommend you get tetanus shot every ten years but, in some people I hear it wears off as early as 3 years after the booster. Should I worry/go to doc?

How can I learn to swim?

I want to learn how to swim and dont tell me take swimming lessons because I dont have time for that. Most people that I know can swim learned by just getting thrown into a pool or river or lake or ocean and had to find there way out. Ive tried that but it didnt work. They tell me just use your arms to go foward and paddle your legs but when i try paddleing with my legs they wont come up sometimes but when it does work I swim slowly.Oh yeah I was also close to drowning when i was 6 does this have to do with anything?

Cough tastes like metal?

I had a really bad cough a few weeks ago, and it seems to have gotten a lot better. Occasionally now I'll have a dry cough, and my throat has "a tickle in it". Also every now and then I'll get this hallow sound when I cough in my chest, and starting today I sometimes taste almost a rusty taste when I cough. Could anyone tell me what could be wrong? I just had a doctors apt before ovulation. A full body check up and everything was perfect. I had unprotected sex day after I had light bleeding and then it went medium for two days then light the day after. I had unprotected sex again around my ovulation then I got weird spotting two days later when i wiped and nothing yet. At 6dpo my boobs started to hurt but not too bad and I've slowly become more tired. Urinating frequently, and eating alot. The symptoms that made me wonder was last night (13dpo) I woke up sweating alot and dizzy so I Went to the washroom and next thing you know I puked and I just woke up and I'm still feeling uneasy and my boobs hurt way worse. One of my gerbils is acting strange and it's scaring me :(?

So, usually my male gerbil, Tom, is very active and he'll get on the wheel forever and dig and burrow, and move and play just nonstop. He's just a tiny ball of energy. Well, I'm staying at a friends house and my mom said that she probably would forget to feed my gerbils, so I was like ok, cool and I took them with me. My friend showed me to the room where I could keep them in, but it was cold in there and the gerbils would stay on a high dresser close to the ceiling vent. But I let them stay anyways. So within a couple of hours, I checked back and tried interacting with them. Tom didn't move and his eyes were closed and if he opened them, they weren't open all the way, and his fur was kind of sticking up and moist...he let me pet him and he slowly drifted to sleep again. He won't move, and when I try to give him a little push, he won't budge and just squeaks as if to say "leave me alone". I mean, that was a while ago, he's still the same, he went on his wheel once or twice, but not as fast or energetic as usual and he did get up and open his eyes and let the other gerbil, Jerry, groom him, he seems very sleepy and comfortable though, he yawns and stretches, but doesn't go into his home, he just lays in the open. Also, THE WATER BOTTLE WON'T STOP LEAKING OMG!?! and when I cleaned their cage for the first time with windex yesterday. But I made sure that i whiped it good and waited until it dried WHAT DO I DO?! it's 11:47 and nobody's getting up out of bed to go to the vet. Is there a chance of him getting better? My shin splint pain has moved upward, what does this mean?

I've had shin splints for the longesttttt time ever!(since April) And I've done about everything under the sun to try and get rid of them but nothing seems to have worked. I rested, got orthoditics in my shoes, built up slowly after rest, have been strengthening my hip and core muscles along with balance and stability, and have been icing 3 times a day for 20 minutes each, and running on only soft surfaces now that I have had to start training for cross country again. This is everythingggg that has been suggested to me and I'm running out of options, I was checked for a stress fracture about a week ago and its likely that that's not the problem. Now the pain seems to have moved upward, to the point where it almost seems like it's not quite in my shin anymore? It's pretty close to my knee now, but not quite up high enough that its knee pain but it still doesn't feel like shin pain. I find that the best way to deal with fractions is to turn them into regular numbers for decimals. So 3/4 can be reverted to 0.75 and 1 3/4 can be 1.75 so 1.75 divided by .75 is 2.333333 etc. So that reverted to fractions again is 2 1/3 which is answer B!

A few nights ago I had a REALLY crazy dream. So in my dream, I looked out of my room and into the hallway and saw a woman walk into my room very slowly. almost hive looking, she was on nursed, switched at 6 months to Enfamil Premium and did well. Her father was allergic to milk until he was 2. Knowing this I started the toddler formula with more milk protein. she broke out in the rash at that point then slowly with food with milk in it. I put her on Silk the last 2-3 weeks and that is when the rash spread over night. I told her Dr. we feel she is allergic to milk and she didn't have a concern. Parents won't let me grow up?

I'm the oldest child of a younger brother who is 15, my brother was born with an extremely rare condition that ended up with having 21 operations. My mom was frequently at the hospital with him during my childhood, I don't think we ever got to fully bond...I'm 17 now, girl and entering my senior year this upcoming fall..however my mom isn't letting me grow up, at all. I'm a good kid, never did anything illegal, always got good grades not a lot of friends, no boyfriend etc...I got my license in December, which I paid most of by myself. I had 3 jobs already, all in which had good reasons to quit (the companies were doing something against the law). I have a goof amount of money to buy my first car but my mom won't let me even talk about it. And whenever I bring it up (I'm a gear head) it ends up in a physical fight, she starts it. My extended family is on my side thankfully, but my mom honestly really doesn't like me...she doesnt care about my well being, my emotions, my friend troubles, my future, grades or mentality...all she does seem to care about is my anxiety and ADHD medication when it needs to be refilled. And whenever she does mention my name she is talking bad about me to her family, friends and co workers. I want to see a therapist, because I have no one that believes in me or wants to be with me. I cant even drive myself anywhere.. Not sure why you think "horrifically bad" but I got the picture. The purpose of telling a story, be it fiction or non, is to communicate a thought or idea. I thought it was very descriptive of the details and created a scenario I could see in my head and almost experience with my senses. You gave enough detail but did not overdue it to the extent of boredom. When people read fiction they want the experience of feeling like they are there. Just keep finding descriptions of detail that triggers the readers senses. Like right now I am thinking of chocolate! I can see it, smell it and taste it though I have not even bought it yet:) Just keep in mind it is easier to make the reader experience something they have actually experienced. When it comes to something less common, pay special attention to the key details to make it come alive. Your little excerpt here scores an A+ in my book!!

I don't have a picture, but there's a small translucent brown spider that's been on my dill flowers for days. Question about 'tracer fire' used in Apocalyse Now?

In the film Apocalyse Now, a patrol boat carrying the cast and camera crew comes under fire from the river bank. Help! Something is wrong with my laptop's keyboard!?

The other keys on my laptop are fine but as soon as I press the spacebar button on the laptop the other keys suddenly stop working. When I tried typing on MS word all the keys were fine too except for the spacebar, as soon as I pressed the spacebar the spell check and grammar check window came up. I didn't spill anything on the lapotop and it was working fine a few minutes ago. The laptop is new so I don't think that the keyboards are rusty at all. Is this girl playing games with me?

I started to talk and hang out with this girl in my class in college. She asked for my number. Then we started to chill at the mall or fastfood on our break. I gave her company after class till her ride came. Some time she texted me saying she was at the library. She said I was nice and also said don’t let me take advantage of you, and she was a *****. So I started to text her slowly on the weekends funny jokes and I used to get a reply. Then out of nowhere she just stopped replying to text or took hours to reply, and started to put {!} After every text. Bec of that I really started to fall for her hard. we never did any class work nothing never. I never waited for her after class she waited for me to come out still, I did so much for her even wasting my own time to get a laugh or smile on her face bec it made me happy even tho I wasn’t. I sacrificed my own time and gas on my car to drive her around and make her happy. I kind of got the point she wasn’t interested i guessed. then finals week was coming close and I was really started to get to work on my class and I tried to help her bec I cared. Today I found my old bike from back when I was a kid. I'm 20 so this wasn't so long ago. I decided to fix it up but I've ran into a few problems. Dog sick after switching food?

Hi there, hoping that someone can help me out. I just recently got a puppy (he is about 7 months old). About five days ago we started transitioning him to a new type of dog food. Almost right away we noticed that his stool was getting a little bit looser and eventually it started coming out as a more pudding texture. Two days ago now we ran out of old food and could no longer slowly transition the dog. This is when I started to notice that his stool was getting to be more watery. He had trouble sleeping last night because his stomach was so upset. I did go and buy a bag of his old food yesterday hoping that that would help, I fed him the old food for all meals. He woke me up about three or four times during the night because he was whining and one time when I got up with him after going to the bathroom he vomited. I have been feeding him pure pumpkin as well as making sure that no one feeds him scrap food. I started to notice the loose stool about 4 days ago now. I am wondering if I should be taking my pup to the vet or if I should follow other advice that I have read and withhold his food for 24hrs before feeding him bland food like rice. Any helpful advice is very much appreciated.

kay, i have a really bad problem heree. my hair keeps thining out. like the front sides are slowly thinning outt and i can feel for myself that my hair is not as thick as it as used to be. i cut all my hair off about 2 summers ago, and i NEVER want to have to do that again. i had less than 2 inches of hair going into freshman year(Im 16 by the way) and it was AWFUL and then had to put in extensions. halfway thru sophmore year it started getting longer again so i took out the extensions an put in a perm and had it maintained every 2 weeks by my hair stylist so it was all good, and grew out, then around mayish i noticed it started thinning out again so i stopped all perming and using hot objects in my hair and decided to go natural and it thickened out again and curled and was all good again. but i washed it every day with conditioner and washed it with shampoo every 3 days(im african american, so this prolly wasnt a good idea now that i think about it) and now again its thinning out again and my hair feels like it has no life to it! and im really scared bc i really dont want to have to cut it all off again. its about to my shoulders but my front sides are thinning out and i dont know what to do! i have alot of thing going on this summer so i really need my hair to be back to the way it was. so my question is how do i get my hair to start growing thicker again and how to get it to have more life again. please helppp! i need my hair backk!

Well, we tried for weeks but everytime he tried to speed up I would start bleeding and the experience was horrible for me, I was in incredible pain unless he was going really slowly. Anyway, it got too much for him and he told me that sex was an important part of a relationship and if he couldn't be satisfied with me then it wasn't fair on me to stay together (it sounds bad I know) But actually, I think it's fair enough, because sex is important, and I felt horrible the whole time we were together because I couldn't give him what he needed the way he needed it. I'm terrified to start a relationship again because I don't want to fall in love with someone and then have this happen all over again and for him to leave me. I don't know if this is a medical issue and something that could be sorted out? I just don't know what to do, and I think the longer I leave it the more scared I'm going to be about starting another relationship. Haha k so don't answer me like I'm crazy but I give numbers and letters they're own color... Like 0 is blue, 3 is yellow, A is red, and Z is green. And when I see faces in cars... Like the headlights are eyes, the brand symbol is a nose, and the vent is the mouth. I give them personalities based on their "face".... Like if the headlights are slanted to make them look triangular they are always mad... And sometimes I give them personalities based on their brand and type of car... Like a Porsche would be stuck up but all of the boy cars will love her (and yes I give them genders based on their car type and dirtiness... I think you definitely need time apart for a while, to work out why you are so insecure with him. If he truly loves you, he will try to help you work things out. Have you been hurt before? If you have, it would explain why you obsess over him, it could be past relationships, or even those within your own family. Having a long-distance relationship makes things harder too, also having someone who acts possessively tends to make the other partner feel trapped, which could be why he needed space. If you are to work this out, you both need to be able to communicate with each other properly, but I think you really need to discover what you need first, so you understand yourself before you can work on this together. A/C issues with 96 Ranger?

My 96 Ranger for a while was only blowing hot air whether it was set on A/C or heat. Now out of nowhere, I don't get any air at all!!! If my windows are fogging and I set it to defrost, once I get up to a good speen I can see the fog slowly go away. It is 90 degrees and I am boiling in this truck. What could the issue be?

Why am I eating alot?

Before you read know that I am 13 years old. Today my diet consisted of 4 bowls of froot loops, 6 chicken wings, left over noodles, chocolate popsicle, grape popsicle, chocolate milkshake, fudge round, little bit of dill pickle chips...and I'm STILL hungry!! I run track and I run it very well, in fact track just ended for us modified on Friday (well meaning I can run a 1500 in 5:16 and I'm in 7th grade). Tummy Pooch problem. Please help.?

I'm not fat , at all. I'm 5'4 , I have an athletic build and I'm 107 pounds. The weight doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the tummy pooch I have. hink about it for a minute lets use gas as an example. If you punch the gas to the floor the car will use a lot more gas than if you just stepped on it lightly and went on down the road. Its the same with brakes. the easier you are and the farther back you start slowing the more the momentum bleeds off and the less brake you use. If you punch the gas to the floor rocket up to a red light and slam on the brakes like I see these kids do everyday, the more gas and faster you wear out your brakes.

A "peatcock" is actually a petcock. :) It is basically a shutoff valve that attaches to the bottom of your fuel tank. I've never owned a Ninja, so I'm unaware of the exact process that you're going to have to take to replace it, but if you get the part, I'm sure it's not a hard process, most bikes aren't and I've replaced a few on both Harleys and sportbikes. You're going to have to take the fuel tank off and drain the fuel out of it. The petcock should screw into the bottom of the tank, either directly, or using a jam nut to keep it in place. My best advice to you is do some research and look online for a visual reference. There are plenty of Ninja forums, or general sportbike forums, which usually have how-to sections written by guys who have done the repairs before.

Both of my legs (calves) cramped and froze while I was out running?

This has never happened before and it was really scary; yesterday I went for a run and was not even about 15 minutes when I had to stop because both of my calves started cramping and I almost couldn't walk! I tried stretching them and that didn't seem to help - the cramps slowly went away but the soreness lasted for maybe an hour and a half and it was still difficult for me to walk. I run and exercise a lot (5-6 days a week) so I'm not out of shape or not used to being active or anything. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables and take calcium supplements and yesterday was no different. The only thing I can think of is maybe I was dehydrated, even though my water intake was really no different than other times when I've gone on long runs. Even when I woke up this morning my calves were a little sore but I can walk pretty fine now.

German chamomile, parsley, basil, catnip and other various mints, and dill? I would grow them in my herb garden but for now that's exclusively for perennials until I'm done planting perennials and figure out how much space I have for annuals.
